Frequently asked questions
What is hydrojetting?
Hydrojetting is a method of cleaning your drains using high water pressure. Think pressure washing but inside your pipes. We use high quality hydrojetters and nozzles to removed roots, grease, sludge, and scale buildup in cast iron pipes. For those stubbed clogs, next time think hydrojet.
What is a sewer inspection?
A sewer inspection or sewer scope is a service we provide for home buyers and sellers. We use industry leading equipment to visually inspect the inside of your sewer and drain pipes. This will allow you to be better prepared for any potential problems that may come up in the future.
What are the most common causes of clogged drains?
In our experience the most common causes of clogged drains are FOG(fats, oils, and grease), roots, offsets, low-areas(belly), and non flushable items such as wipes and feminine hygiene products.
Why does my toilet keep clogging?
If your toilet is clogging often it may be time to have it inspected. You may be loosing flushing power due to clogging of the siphon jet and/or rim holes. When toilets begin to loose flushing power they can lead to waste getting stuck in the toilet trap.
What can I put down my garbage disposal?
This is a debated topic but with our experience and research we believe that most of your plate scraps are ok to send down your garbage disposal. We do recommend disposing of cooking oils and grease into your food waste bin as well as most vegetable and fruit peels.
